HPRA Scholarship Programs
The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) supports rising stars in communications with scholarships that help them pursue their dreams and build careers that uplift and engage the U.S. Latino community.
Scholarship recipients and students across the country benefit from mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to engage with communications leaders.
Scholarship applications are due June 20, 2025.
HPRA National Scholarship
HPRA National will award $10,000 in scholarships in 2025. In addition to a scholarship, winners receive:
- A free one-year student membership with access to all HPRA National webinars and events, giving them the opportunity to network and learn from PR professionals.
- Mentorship and shadowing opportunity with a board member
- Ticket to the ¡BRAVO! Awards, where HPRA National Scholarship winners are recognized each year.
Eligibility:
- Be an undergraduate student enrolled at a two- or four-year accredited college or university for the 2024-2025 academic year. Students can be enrolled full-time or part-time.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Open to students of all majors who demonstrate an interest in a career in public relations and communications.

Roshana Gossoff Memorial Scholarship
HPRA National is proud to award the Roshana Gossoff Memorial Scholarship, a $1,500 scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student at Florida International University (FIU) who demonstrates a strong interest in a career in public relations and communications.
This scholarship honors the life and legacy of Roshana Gossoff, a beloved communicator and FIU alumna whose passion, warmth, and dedication left a lasting mark on the South Florida community, HPRA, and those she inspired.
In addition to the scholarship, the recipient will receive:
- A free one-year student membership with access to all HPRA National webinars and events, which provide valuable networking and learning opportunities with PR professionals.
- Mentorship and shadowing opportunity with a board member in South Florida.
- A ticket to the ¡BRAVO! Awards, where scholarship winners are recognized each year.

- Be an undergraduate student enrolled at Florida International University for the 2025-2026 academic year. Students can be enrolled full-time or part-time.
