Across digital platforms worldwide, we saw a proliferation of misleading content about the pandemic and the 2020 presidential election that has left Latino communities more vulnerable than ever to disinformation.
Despite efforts from various government entities, NGOs, and private-sector organizations, disinformation has continued to spread, primarily downplaying the severity of the pandemic and undermining confidence in vaccines.
Join us on June 9 for a dynamic discussion with Hispanic leaders at the forefront of this issue to discuss the impact it is having on our communities and how communicators can best work to mitigate its spread.
Moderator: Adrian Carrasquillo, Newsweek Political Reporter
