HPRA National Scholarship

Carrying out our mission to help nurture the next generation of Latinos in Communications, the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) has created a national scholarship program for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Public Relations or Communications.

About the HPRA National Scholarship Programs

HPRA National will award five $1,000 scholarships in 2022. Student scholarship winners will be notified in the summer and awarded their scholarships for the fall semester. Public recognition of the scholarship winners will happen annually at the BRAVO! Awards ceremony.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will receive (1) year FREE access to all HPRA National webinars and events, giving them the additional opportunity to network and learn from PR professionals.

Applicant must:
- Attend or be accepted to attend a four-year accredited college or university by Fall 2022 semester or be enrolled full-time for the 2022-23 school year.
- Be an incoming college sophomore, junior, senior undergraduate student.
- Earn a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in their major subject.
- Express a desire to work in the public relations/communications industries.
- Major in public relations, communications, advertising, and marketing.
Application Period – The application period opens March 1, and the deadline to submit applications is Friday, May 6, 2022, at 5 p.m. EASTERN.

HPRA MBA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Thanks to the generous contribution of $25,000 by Moet Hennessy, we are excited to announce the new HPRA MBA Scholarship Program. Thanks to the support of donors, such as Moet Hennessy, together we are opening doors for Latinx college students entering the field of public relations.

About the HPRA MBA Scholarship Program

The HPRA MBA Scholarship Program aims to recognize and assist outstanding Latinx graduate students pursuing a degree in Public Relations or Communications.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will receive (1) year FREE access to all HPRA webinars and events, affording them the additional opportunity to network and learn from PR professionals.

Award: $25,000 to be paid to HPRA USA

Timing:
- The application period opens March 15, 2022
- Application deadline Friday, May 6, 2022, at 5 p.m. EASTERN
- Student scholarship winners will be notified in the summer and awarded their scholarships for the fall semester.
- Public recognition of the scholarship winners will happen annually at the BRAVO Awards ceremony in the fall.
Eligibility:
- Attend or be accepted to attend an accredited MBA program by the Fall 2022 semester or be enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Express a desire to work in the public relations/communications industries.
